In her practices Katya Buchatska often works with the topic of time, applies the methods of media archeology and uses the tactic of “soft” intervention in the environment (gallery, museum or natural space). Buchatska works in various media: sculpture,installation, photography and painting. She studied in École Nationale Supérieure d’Art de Dijon and in 2015 she graduatedMonumental painting department at the National Academy of Fine Arts and Architecture in Kyiv. Since 2016 she has been working with people with autism spectrum disorder in the “Workshop of Possibilities” art studio.
