Kateryna Zotova
Kateryna Zotova was born in April 1987 in Kyiv, where she received her secondary and higher education. She met her husband in Crimea, and the family stayed in Kharkiv for the next 10 years.
After the birth of her first daughter, Kateryna started doing children’s illustration and made pictures for the Ukrainian publishing house “Ranok” and foreign clients.
After the birth of her second daughter (a child with complex health situation), the family moved to Kyiv, where the main children’s hospital in Ukraine is located. At the end of February 2022, one of the scheduled surgeries for the child was supposed to be conducted, but due to the outbreak of war all scheduled surgeries were cancelled and the clinic started taking care of the wounded only.
Kateryna is now in Berlin with her husband, daughters and a cat named Dunkel. Her youngest daughter received the necessary treatment and rehabilitation at the Charité hospital.
When Kateryna is not busy taking care of her children, she is most likely drawing with a cup of tea and a cat on her lap.
