Young Stage
Festival
At the “Young Stage” festival, children and young people with their own perspective on dance, theater and performance are not only part of the audience, but are also on stage themselves. Together with dancers and choreographers and in cooperation with Dresden schools and clubs, they present new pieces. The festival also becomes a meeting point and exchange forum for young theater and dance enthusiasts as well as educators and artists. Six projects were selected for this year’s “Young Stage” under the motto “shaking ground” following an open call.
“Young Stage” is funded by the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media and the Cultural Foundation of the Free State of Saxony as part of the Alliance of International Production Houses. This measure is co-financed by tax funds on the basis of the budget approved by the Saxon state parliament.
